Sauerkraut (Lasagna)
Sauerkraut- finely cut raw cabbage that has been fermented by various lactic acid bacteria. You can find this around the world but be sure to try it in Germany. It will likely be tastier than what it like outside of Germany. At least it was for us.
Now this may sound ridiculous but hear me out… Sauerkraut Lasagna. We found this at a restaurant in the old town of Frankfurt called Weinstube im Romer. Was there too much sauerkraut? Almost. Would I order it again? Absolutely.
